When in use, the lid is stashed under the main tray but easily clicks back into place when your ready to hit the road. This case will fit your Drill Index as well as it's original box.

The Original Drill Index cards are printed on standard playing card stock which is essentially an adhesive core covered with varnished paper. Varnishing keeps the cards from getting dirty and provides a smooth, slightly slippery surface to aid in handling. They are not water resistant.
